Default firearms season

I dont get these people that shoot one round after other. If you miss you may get a second chance. Come on 3 or 4. Maybe they think its some type of call if they firer 3 or 4 rounds off in row.

I can understand it if they are shooting in wide open fields, but not in woods or swamp.I hunt in the Adirondacks in N.Y.,there aren`t too many fields around where I hunt.and I heard alot of 3 to 4 round vollys.Got mine this year,ONE SHOT ONE KILL.

I agree, your chances are greatly reduced when they are running. I usually will try to stop them by wistling before shooting. You'd be suprised how well that works!!

I hear the same garbage!! I dont know what they think they are gonna kill besides air shooting like that. I shoot once anymore, deer dies, used to shoot twice if possible but ended up ruining meat everytime so i stopped.

That is very common around here. they drive little patches of woods around the farming areas.they surround the fields with standers. When the herd runs out they all open up.Then they divide the deer up.Lots of times they dont know who shot what deer. The ones that get away are usually without a leg or gut shot.Disgusting display.I have seen this already and sometimes over 30 shots fired by the group in to the herd.THEN PEOPLE WONDER WHY THE DEER POP. IS SO LOW ANYMORE AROUND HERE ??
