he said a .243 lakes energe up to 500 yards my .223 ar 15 is good up to likea 600 kilamiters so why would a 243 not be

me personaly I like my ruger 30-06 cause when the bullet makes contact with the deer you know it aint goin anywhere.

Of all the medium and big game calibers available I would think that the 30:06, 308, 270 and 30:30 have harvested more big game that any of the other calibers combined. My favorite is the is the 308.

yea i work with a guy who shot one 500yds with a 243. he has hard time judging distance. i have a neighbor who shoots them regularly at 300yards with a thirty thirty. i told him i eat them raw if he could prove it.so far im safe. 500yards lonng d@#m ways
