You let me know where you can find a shotgun that holds 9 shells. So i'm to beleive , he shot 3 shells , and then reloaded , twice more ( 3x3 =9 ) and still was able to chase the deer ? PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE
He shot at the buck 9 times hitting it six times
most of the shotguns around here hold 5 shells and tube extensions are readily avaiable than can extend magazine capacity to 7 or 9 shots.

You might mention to your friend that sitting and letting a wounded deer walk off to lay down and die is almost always better than chasing it and blasting away. Although if he's a good hunter he already knows that
