I am from central indiana . have not seen much sign. So does anybody know if the rut has started yet or not. I havn't had much of a chance to get in the woods.

The rut is getting into full swing up here in Franklim county.

I am from Greenwood (right below Indy) and the rut is in full swing. I have been visiting the local sportsman shop here and I have seen several bucks everyday with swollen necks. The guys that took them all said they are starting to rut hard. Also, I have heard about at least 3 car wrecks in the past couple days involving deer so they are def. moving around.

give it a week i saw two 8 pts and a 6 came in to "the can" scent bombs and smelt hard..the 6 was chasing a doe
