Default Will he make it ??

My uncle last wednsday shot a 6 pointer. he said it was less then 10 yrds away. he said it hit just above front shoulder. he said it looked like it went in about 6 inches. he found some blood but then it disappeard.. him his wife and kids went through the area thourally didn't find ne thing. I thought maybe he hit the shoulder blade? what do u think?.. He said the arrow is probably still in him... he ran with his tail down.. after the shot he hunched his back and took off.. will he recover from this? or most likely not

I think there's a good chance it was a muscle wound and the deer should recover. The fact that there was little blood sounds like he's alright. However, one lung or a large blood vessel may have been hit and the blood trail is limited my only an entrance wound that may be blocked by the arrow. I think he'll probably make it, though.
