Here is a picture i took while setting in my shooting house over looking one of my foodplots,this will be the third hunting season i have had a food plot in this bottom ,it was a big pine timber stand owned by a timber company,the pinebettles started killing the trees so they clearcut it and i bought the land 75 acres in all,this plot is about 2 acres that runs next to a little creek. In the summer i have purple hull peas planted here and the deer just go crazy over them. I have tried planting winter peas but wheat seems to do better in the cold months and the deer seem to like it to. I have took 2 nice bucks and several does since i built the shooting house and last season i missed 2 big bucks that hounds from a nearby hunting club chased through. WHY DO THEY RUN THROUGH WHEN YOUR TRYING TO PEE IN A BOTTLE.
