Buck poached on my Grandfathers' place.(pics)

man that was a huge/very nice buck. looks realy young and it had a huge rack for being a young deer. i don't know what the hell some people think when they do that stuff. it makes me mad when people do stuff like that. Like some land owners have had a few problems with other ( stupid and bad hunters) hunters leaving there gate open. well know he won't let me or any other hunter hunt on that land because of some stupid hunters. the bad hunters seem to ruin it all for the people that take hunting seroius.

That makes me sick. Sounds like they shot it from the road and since it didnt drop they just left. Road hunters can be hard to catch. I also read your post about you and your Grandfather catching tresspassers on his land. You need to put a stop to these criminals. I would be willing to come out to Kansas next season and stake out your Grandpa's property. I would of course carry my bow or my rifle whatever is in season. And I would put the time in to catch these poachers. Just because I have seen the pics of the great bucks that you and your Grandpa and Grandma get, Please do not consider my offer as a sneaky attempt to weasel my way into hunting your Grandpa's place. I would never do anything that low.

Well the poachers usually just stay in their vehicles. He caught a group pheasant hunting on it last year, and they said they've been hunting this land for years, and always had permission from him, even though my grandfather didn't know him, and he has a good memory-only 62. I'm trying to talk him into getting a fake decoy out there. I doubt it would take even one day to get a poacher from the road. But having one warden per county, i doubt he'd even bother coming to that neck of the woods. I mean I've done a bunch of deer hunting and other kinds of hunting in the past several years, and yet to be checked by a warden on private or public land. This land is a low populated area, not a town over 2,500 within a hours drive.
