Two years ago, with .270 and core-Loks I dropped a doe with a shot to the spine then the next day dropped a very small six point (almost a spike) (very wierd) with the exact same shot to the spine. All the guys at the camp call me the cyropractor (cant spell) I was 13.

Last season I dropped an 8-point with 19 3/4 in spread, 9 and 10in G2's 7 and 6in G3s,scored 137 B&C
Looking forward to my 3rd and most definately not last deer season

Winchester 00 buck. One pellet hit the 6 point in the temple.
I went to gut him. Grabbed one leg and the other hit me in the head. I ran about 50 yds thinkin the deer was after me. I was about 12 years old.

30-30 great shooting little gun. I bet I'm not the only one to use a 30-30 on my first deer. Still a great gun for kids. Just thinking about it makes me want to pull it out and hunt. with it. Hard to put down my 7mm mag though.
