I went to high school in a rural farm area. I had friends who lived on farms and grew up raising pigs and cattle. Our neighbors always had a calf that thei raised in a pen each year and then butchered. I've helped my friends kill and process animals and I don't see why it would be any different with a deer. Whacking a bull on the head with an 8 lb sledgehammer is definately harder than pulling the trigger on a wild deer. ......well, I was a teenager, so really it was kind of cool at the time. But in a sick "I'm laughing so I won't vomit" kind of way.
