I put it out in the early spring ,it helps with rack growth and general health. You can put it out any time . Deer will dig up the ground . I put it near trails . I tryed hunting over / nere it with poor results . I think deer hit it at night . But I do see good numbers in the general area

Deer cocaine has worked very well for me. I've had one spot going now for about 2 years and it's about 6 or 7 feet around and maybe 3 feet deep. No lie. I put my camera on it all the time and it fills up quickly. Maybe my deer just need minerals more than your deer do. I don't get many daylight pics though. Most all of them at night. I wish I had a scanner and could show you some pics. There's a few with deer standind in the hole with their heads down and you cant even see their head. You might as well try it though.

Hit and miss. Last year I put some out and thought they were going to dig to china with the way they were digging at it. This year they did not touch it. I guess I'll just have to chalk it up to something else I don't understand about deer.

I used the regular liquid bottle last year and had great results. I placed it close to a break in the trees not terribly far from my feeder. There was no path there to begin with, but within 3 weeks of placing it there, I had major traffic starting from that point heading towards my feeder.

I bought some this year (the powder), but just put it out last weekend . . . haven't had a chance to go back and see if its had any traffic.

I have it out now it's been out for about three week with no success. I have had people who have used it quite a bit tell me it has taken deer in their area up to a year to start hitting it.

It is not baiting in some states like mine. Missouri, salt and mineral suppliments are legal in our state.
