I love it. I use the powder and don't mix it with water. I let the rain do its own work. Plus who wants to haul water(G). Every place I put it is dug up. I shot 2 deer close to the licks last year that I put out in the spring and refreshed them in summer.(I shot one that was too small, rack looked good but body was light and thin) It seems to work good on the rack size. I shot my first 8 point and saw a 10 point. Racks have grown in the past 2 years significantly.

I think it works, but you can make your own for much cheaper and have a much bigger quantity to play with.

I have used it for about 4 years now and the deer love it. I hunt a cut over and i think the deer need more minerals. They are digging me a swimming pool.[:@]

I don't know the exact recipe he would be referring to, but you can read the package to find the exact ratios of minerals in it, then go to the feed store and buy the minerals in 50# or 100# bags. I'd guess salt is a main ingredient. While we're on this subject, another good trick is to pour about 50# of plain salt/mineral supplement (also available at the feed store) on a half rotted stump. When the rain soaks it in, deer will tear it to pieces.
