Georgia's bow season starts the second weekend in September. Blackpowder is the second weekend in october and firearms season is seven days later, and goes to Janruary 1 or 9 depending on what part of the state you live in. The season limit is 10 antlerless and 2 bucks with one that has to have at least 4 points on a side.

In Sask, Canada - regular deer rifle starts sept 27th in the north(forest), Nov 1 in forest fringe and Nov15th the rest of the province. ML season opens province wide Oct 1st. However during a elk or moose season whitetail is open as well for those who hold a valid Elk/Moose license - so next week I can shoot deer as well as my Elk (Sept 13th).

I'm headed to Kansas on Thursday for their ML season which opens this Saturday, Sept 11th. Pretty early by my way a thinkin! I don't even know how to hunt em that early!

What do you guys think about a Sept. 18 start date? Cut off to enter would be on Sept. 12, Sunday evening @ midnight. That would gives us about a week to draw for teams and get replacements if needed.

Here in SC it does start the earliest, but with temps in the 90’s and the humidity pushing the heat index to around 100 it can, and is quite uncomfortable. Not to mention the skitters.
