I know my state doesn't qualify but a lease I'm hunting on does!
Season starts the end of September for Bow and November 6th for rifle.
The lease however is managed Texas wildlife management plan. Biologist set some early rifle hunts (doe only) starting on Oct. 9th!

Don't know if ours is the earliest or not but in this part of NC it starts on 10/16. South Carolina gets about a month start on us with bow season so their gun season may be sooner also.

Rifle season for south Texas starts on November 6 and runs until January 16. Last year deer season started on Nov. 2, I hate when they add days but atleast they extend the season so it pretty much averages out to the same # of days each year.

South Carolina....Aug.15-Jan.1....No limit on bucks in low country swamps....32 does legal on 16 either-sex days w/2 per day limit....
And the deer are still a nuisance/hazard to farmers and motorist on I-26 & I-95....
