I tie a rope to it, grab hold of the other end and drag. Adrenaline is a wonderful thing. I have yet to have anyone help me drag one out....even last year with a thrown out back! I am thinking about building a cart though. Does anyone have diagrams of a tested design?

ORIGINAL: TURKEY FAN

if u have two people, you can tie the deer to a long branch and each of you carry a end...........like the old day when hawaiins when carry a pig to a lou owl with an apple in its mouth..........does this give u a visual?
If your by yourself, i would reccomend getting help, lol
ive tried that and its not as easy as it looks I helped a friend drag his 10 point out of the woods that thing must have weighed 175lbs easy and we couldent find any decent trees so we used a huge tree which added a ton of weight but we`re both short guys and the deer drug on the ground so it was a pain but walmart sells one ive seen it looks like back pack straps with a long rope attached and it would probbaly do decent or get one of them game arts from cabelas for under $100

I either just tie the roap around my waste or find a nice size stick and tie the rope around it and pull it with my hands behind my back.

The best way is a sled or a tarp. Also you want to do this if you are going to mount the deer because the hair can burn off if you don't

My Yamaha Grizzly 660!!!! Usually its my ATV but I do have a heavy duty cart (with the 16" or 18" bike style wheels) for areas where ATV's are not allowed.

Good Luck!

My Yamaha Grizzly 660 !!!! Most of the time thats what I use with a Otter 24"x48" sled towing behind. I also have a big wheel game cart from Cabela's. It works very well in areas off limit to ATV's.

Good Luck!
