I was just wondering if anyone who hunts blacktail deer have had success with rattling or calling them ??

We have rattled some up but our success was hit or miss with it . A lot depend on where your hunting and the type of terrain. Where we hunt the deer don't seem to move around much during the day but it might be different in the farm county where you live around Salem .
