7mm-08 ammo choices
Ok guys, new rifle has been ordered. Remington 700 Mountain Lss in 7mm-08. Was wondering about factory ammo choices available. Usually shoot hornady in my guns but the only thing they offer is the light mag version. Any comments or reccomendations for ammo totry out inmy new rifle?

Federal Premium offer 140 gr Nosler: Partition(NP), Ballistic Tip(NBT) and Boattails. Winchester offer 140gr in failsafe, BT's and power points. I am positive rem. loads a number of similar if you care for their factory mo.
I have had good results for Federal Premium line and still favor the NBT for deer hunting. It is has always been the most accurate choice and if you aim for the boiler room it is an excellent deer bullet from 100yards up. If you like controlled expansion or aim for the pins then NP would be a solid choice as well.
