I paid $150,000 financed over 30 years for 80 acres. Yup I bought my own land and it ain't cheap. Clubs have too many restrictions, public land is too crowded, farmers are getting greedy, and leases are a bad investment. It's small but only 1 mile from the Mississippi in western Illinois in PRIME buck paradise. It's also close enough to home so I can go every weekend but far enough to keep the wife from visiting.

The one I belonged to is owned by Proctor & Gamble and it was $800yr
total of70 members for 2700 acres. I think it's higher now. We have others
like Buckeye Paper Co, St.Lucie Paper Co. etc, etc.

$150 / year for 1100 acres. Not really sure how many members (re: people with permits)...we are going to get a list from the guywho is the "head" guy and is the actual man on the lease.

Been in it 3 years though and there's only about 6 of us that ever hunt.

I run a small hunting club in NC. Ten members, $275 first year, then $250,for deer & turkey on 546 acres. It is a pine plantation and it is divided into 6 zones. Hunters must pick a zone or one of the club stands. If you pick a zone then you must stay 200 yards away any club stand. There is about one stand in each zone. The zones vary in size from 75 to 100 acres.
