You may be able to hunt on the post itself, depending on the alert situation. Besides that, MO has a lot of public land to hunt. Check the Missouri Dept. of Conservation web site (search engine) and you can obtain public land info. If you bow hunt, much can be hunted with little pressure. Gun hunting is another story. I live here in NW Missouri and there is tons of public land that has huge bucks on it. Most hunters in this area have places to hunt and don't even try to bowhunt deer on public ground. There are some huge bucks roaming those woods because they have never been hunted before.
