WOW!! I have never heard of such a thing, it's people like that (if its' even true) that give peta, and all the other antihunting groups just what they need to say hay hunters are bad people. And if it's not true, why would someone even say they do stuff like that? This guy sounds like a complete moron, What a Dink,, for lack of a better uncencerd word!!!!

I don't think this is right either BUT.......I have heard of deer eating fermented apples, persimmons, what have you and getting drunk. There's a guy down here that has an apple orchard and he said he's seen deer in the orchard eating fermented fruit and you would swear they were drunk. They stumble around and just act drunk.

Not defending this guy, just saying these things happen in the wild too.

The first step for the deer is to admit they have a problem

Starting in late August I load up a bunch of tranqualizer darts with heroin and shoot every deer on our lease. I do this every week until opening weekend. By the time the season rolls around, you can't get out of the truck with a rifle without being mobbed by a bunch of junkie whitetails.

I agree this idot is the drunk and a damn fool.[:@][:'(]
animals love ferminitted fruit, they will go out of there way to get it.the birds will set and eat the berries from my pearacanther (sp) vines till they fall off the limb on the ground.they lay there for a couple hrs. till they sober up,fly right back up and start eating again. It is so funny.
I have saw hogs eating the skimmings from the cane grindings.(the leftovers from making syurp)they will eat till they can't walk, they will stacker around and squeel and squeel, then lay down and eat what they can reach.[&:][8D]
