my first deer was a doe when i was 15 it probably diddent weigh 90lbs but i was proud and it looked alot bigger at the time and it was getting dark but i was proud and thats all that mattered i shot it with a friends .308 because at that time all i had was an old 12 gaige and the spot we went to was a little to far for a shotgun the guy who loaned me his gun had shot a huge 10 pointer a couple hours before and was hunting with me before we went home to see if i could finally get something and i lucked up

Mine was a 145 pound 8 pointer. I shot it with my brand new (at the time) .270. My dad went for a walk to try to stir things up in at about 8 in the morning, and he came in at 845. It was a nice deer, but not huge, but since it was my first one my dad got it mounted for me. I wasnt holding out tho, if a doe would have walked by she would have gotten it. that was when i was 12. Now im 15 and i have shot 5 deer in 4 years. Talk about luck.

I started out wrong. In '57 I got my first deer. an 11 point, field dressed 200lbs. In all the years past, have never been able to best that first one.
But I'm not giving up.

my first deer was a sika blacktailed deer that i shot in the quees charlotts. it was a 2+2 with velvet on the horns

Oh man, so long ago !!!!! 1969 to be exact, I was still in high school. Nice big 8 pointer, I think he scored around 130. 225# dressed weight !!!!! The DNR man that aged him couldn't really believe it.....he aged this deer at about 8 years old !!!!!
Man that was a long time ago ~!!! LOL
