Hunters should stick together, first and foremost. Good post, cardeer.

If it is legal, it is ethical! It may not be the way I would hunt, but I am not going to knock anyone for the way they hunt as long as it is legal. CD ignore these snobs.

You do what you feel is right for you within the rules of the law, and I know you will. Behind you 100% CD.

cardeer - Theres nothing unethical about shooting a crossbow. HOWEVER, its much less challenging than shooting a compound, recurve or longbow, and the very ease of its use invites people to abuse them - thats where the animosity towards them come from.

I agree Cardeer. I have always posted on here that I have no problem with any hunting method as long as its legal. Some people rag on me because I bait deer into my backyard but hey its legal here. I have also hunted deer in VA. with dogs and had a blast. I also hunt some 'city deer' that would probably get hit by cars if it wasnt for hunting. I think the disabled hunter should be able to use a crossbow and they can in my state. I also would have no problem with disabled hunters using an ATV to get back into the woods further in state forests. But I do have a thing against hunting captive deer behind high fences but that is illegal in my state. I think the TV shows that show hunting in these places are not doing hunters any favor with the antis. We need to stick together to fight the tree huggers.

Cardeer I agree with your statements. I would also like the trophy hunters to get off the backs of meat hunters. Venison is venison.....whether be doe or buck.
De. is getting ready to pass a new lic. law where you buy your reg. lic. with 2 doe tags attached and you have to pay extra 10 to get a buck tag. Way to go Trophy hunters, you just cost alot of De. hunters more money.
We all just need to get along.
