that is cool. i have never actually seen a 3 legged deer in real life.

last year at the sportsman's show, they had a deer with a mini 14" leg growing from its back. pretty weird.

Nice - Very Nice picture.

I'm thinking the deer is 3.5 years old. And I'd be shocked if it were a birth defect. More likey the deer survived a severe wound (notice how the opposite antler is smaller in the first pisture) - two years ago, maybe even as a yearling buck.

That deer is very healthy, truly a remarkable animal. It just goes to show how great the survival skills of a whitetail deer are.

I don't want to sound like a guy that doesn't believe it but on the 2nd pic that leg does really look right. If you copy it to paint and zoom in where the leg meets the deer doesn't it look a little to square. Like if it was copy and pasted thier???. Also that deer does appear to be walking a little stable to, shouldn't he be favoring one side a little more? Very good editing tho
