I think that is part of the little boy's jacket that is in front of part of the tine.

If you look really closly you can see sort of a line thing at the skull base(looks like it is going from ear to ear), which would inforce DaveH's theory. It looks like it was a skull cap placed onto the head of a doe or something.....but you never know no of us might have never questioned it if unless someone had sai..."o gee this looks kinda fake"

My 2 cents >
G2 on the boys side looks broke in his hand
What's behind the boy's shoulder..A kicker from G3?
Both G2 look like they "attach" at a perfect 90
Spread at base looks 2 wide
Most whitetails measure 3 1/4 inches from the base of the antler to front of eye
this "looks" like a bunch more..the deers right side looks like 5"

I don't buy it ...Rampola #2

Lol...don't tell me this pic is making the rounds again????? Listen up folks, this recent "WR" pic is at least 3-4 years old. I'm not even going to bother commenting on it's legitimacy. Believe what you want to. I can't even see the picture and I know exactly which one you are referring to. S

I am no expert on photo analysis, but this pic smells like a TUNA to me.

Looks fake to me. The head is sitting straight and the antlers are crooked.
