Until they come out with a throw away version for $5 I won't waste my money. Play the wind. I have had deer downwind of me in a lot of situations also and not been busted, I have also had them upwind and got busted (but only when there was no real wind or it shifted)! It is every bit of a gimmick as the attractants are for the most part. There are some that work in certain instances.

Look at all these hunting shows, main thing they talk about is hunting the wind, if these suits were so great and you know these guys who have there shows have alot of $$ to spend on scent suits why do they hunt the wind, HMMM?
THEY DONT WORK

I wish I could remember what show it was I was watching, but the hunter actually said the deer busted him, the funny thing was Scent-Lok was one of the sponsors and the guy was wearing a Scent-Lok suit!!!! That kind of says it all, if you ain't playing the wind right, stay home!

Even with scent lok you should still play the wind. But deer are unpredictable as everyone here knows. You can expect them to come in downwind of your setup but you never know where they will come. Thats why I still wear a liner suit. It may work or it may not but this was my first year using it and I was able to see more deer than I ever have and I had a few deer that surprised me and came downwind but they didnt spook.

Well last year I decided to hunt from the ground one day and while sitting on the ground next to a rock I heard something coming toward me. It was to early to see that far but I clicked off the safty ready for a shot as it was coming closer and closer. It was 10 yds away when I realized it was a fox. I thought about shooting it as it would have been legal but i was there for bigger game. So I let it pass within 8 feet of me and all it did was look and kept on going. So in my opinion the suits work.

ive had and watched mature whitetail bucks on public land(might as well send them to how to survive hunting season school) walk withing feet of me and my dad.....most of the time we are sweating from the warm fall days of small game hunting and turkey hunting.....and often we have blood on our hands and clothes ect.....one of the bucks almost ran into my dad.....who knows what he was thinking.....but when he bent his head down about 2 feet from my dads face my dad jumped at him to scare him off.....weve had countless expieriences like this.....im not into spending 100s of dollars to control something that deer really dont care about.....all the ones weve seen seem more curious then scared....and in rifle season they dont have the time of day to check the wind or say hey i smell human im not going that way.....they are running for their lives.....ill stick to my normal gear......you guys go ahead and spend the money......good luck........

When they first came out I read a report on the suits that was a real eye opener.

They dressed up different people and they hid in ruble like an earth quake area. They brought in rescue dogs to see if the dogs could smell them out. The dogs had no problem finding every one that was in the area.

So I haven't bought one yet and probaly never will.

Everybody I know that has one still hunts the wind. Kinda funny you can have a bad wind on a perticular stand and try to put one of them on the stand and they either won't take it or they don't see anything.

While I don't think that any carbon suit will make you scent free , I do believe that they help . I started wearing Army MOPP suits 4 years ago , and I have yet to get busted . BTW Taz , they are cheap and disposable , and very warm .
