I have lost many a pet and it's always hard. We feed them, care for them, treat them like they are a member of the family. Eventually, they die but it's the journey that matters. Get another cat and don't forget the last one since they are all special.

I'm sincerely sorry to hear that you lost your cat. I hope you can find some comfort in his state of peace.
Like the others here, I look upon my dog as part of the family. If anyone deliberately injures of kills him, they might as well have done it to my wife. I'll come looking for them either way.

sorry to hear about your cat, i've lost a few in the last two years. i live on a dirt road, but people still fly through here like crazy, last summer my wife and i were out driving around and about two miles away from home we happened to find our cat laying beside the road. then to top it all off we had two cocker/springer spaniel mix-puppies, we had bought the winter before, a cruel bi***h had them poisoned b/c she was pe-od at me.[:@]. all though i can not prove it. it still sux loosing them !!!

sorry to hear about the cat, i know the feeling, had 1 dog; well puppy poisoned and i also had one run away the night before rifle season opened, needless to say he never came back; we all pretty well know what happened to him.
