Finally I got a shot at deer for the shotgun season. I missed her flat out. I got down from my stand didnt find any blood. She sure took out of there like a bat out of hell. Have you ever shot and missed?

If you have never missed you haven' t shot at very many deer. I missed two weeks ago, hit a wire on a fence. I still keep seeing it replay in my mind. Should we seek therapy?[:' (]

You MISSED? What do you mean YOU MISSED Your punishment for missing is to go sit your deer stand for the next two weeks.

I wish my wife would tell me that everytime I missed. Heck, I would never get to go home. I have fired my rifle 4 times this year at deer. I have connected twice. 50% is not to bad, huh. I used to never miss. But of course that was when I wasn' t seeing any deer. Get my point. It happens.

Took 2 shots at a deer during a drive, very short range, only the trees were in shorter range. Bagged 2 that day, Leaves and all Forgot to add my gun bumped the tree on the way up and knoked the front bead off a tadd. The gun was off about 8" at 20 yds.[:@] Learned my lesson well.

I' ve chopped a few trees down with the shotgun over the years, nothing like following a running deer with the bead and right when you pull the trigger theres a small pine 10 yards infront of you
