Finally I got a shot at deer for the shotgun season. I missed her flat out. I got down from my stand didnt find any blood. She sure took out of there like a bat out of hell. Have you ever shot and missed?

You MISSED? What do you mean YOU MISSED Your punishment for missing is to go sit your deer stand for the next two weeks.
I wish my wife would tell me that everytime I missed. Heck, I would never get to go home. I have fired my rifle 4 times this year at deer. I have connected twice. 50% is not to bad, huh. I used to never miss. But of course that was when I wasn' t seeing any deer. Get my point. It happens.

Took 2 shots at a deer during a drive, very short range, only the trees were in shorter range. Bagged 2 that day, Leaves and all
Forgot to add my gun bumped the tree on the way up and knoked the front bead off a tadd. The gun was off about 8" at 20 yds.[:@] Learned my lesson well.

I' ve chopped a few trees down with the shotgun over the years, nothing like following a running deer with the bead and right when you pull the trigger theres a small pine 10 yards infront of you
