Getting a trailcam is a great idea, but if your as strapped as I am just do the cheaper thing and hunt the area if you are allowed and find out first hand how big he is. Good luck!!!!!

Sure is a nice looking rub. One thing to remember though, I' ve seen bucks rub trees raw on trees that won' t fit between their antlers, so it doesn' t necessarily mean a wide buck, but is very likely a mature buck. Very nice, thanks for sharing the pic.

Any other signs nearby?
I haven' t found much other sign close by, but that doesn' t mean there isn' t any. I plan to go back on Saturday and take a closer look.

Don' t worry Dave, it' s not the same deer. I live in Harford County but my hunting ground is in Washington County. That picture was taken west of Hagerstown, MD. If it IS the same deer, he must be using a ton of frequent flier miles.

this is one of those deer myths. Don' t wanna **** on your cake but that could have been made by a monster buck or it could have been made by a little 4 point.

Come to think of it, I am fairly certain that it was a button buck that did it. He' s a beefcake too... at LEAST 45 pounds
