Which ever YOU shoot the best and have the most confidence in. A deer shot with either one of those guns will be just as dead. Both have MORE than enough power for ANY deer within 100 yards. I have a friend that kills and elk every year with an open sight 30-30. Has never lost one because he keeps his shots to under 100 yards.
