Down the road in Buffalo, yup, deer are everywhere around here, only outnumbered by pronghorn! Just the road between Buffalo and Sheridan you'll see tons. I am amazed at the "lines" between WT and MD, they don't usually co-mingle!

Got any local contacts in law enforcement or health care? My wife is done with nursing school this fall and we're considering moving our young family that way.
I don't know the first thing about how to plan that kind of transition, but beginning to seriously consider it.

Jake, you should seriously look at Sheridan. It’s such a beautiful town and with a population around 18k there is a lot of business in the area. Sheridan has a hospital and there own police department.
DJfan, I don’t know the area that well yet. I know there is some state, BLM, and NF in the area. Right near town is lots of large private ranches. Best of luck.

Step 2: interview, ask about relo, or decide it's worth it.
Step 3: Pack up and start driving :-)
If you are serious I can point you to a GREAT real estate agent in this area.
