Default Pee in Scrape? Yes or no?

well tonight, I decided i wasnt gonna go hunting...but then i heard some shots. so i took a walk across the road to my spot. I got there, Glassed the 1000+yd Field, and nothing, Turn around to check towards the road, and a doe and fawn are there flagging away. I jumped up on the Old Railroad tracks, to see if they' d cross. I was certain they did to go in the corn. So i called my dad...only to have them Jump up from the tracks, and go across the big field. oh well. I walk up the tracks to where they were, and poof, there are two VERY Fresh Scrapes...One was 2-3 inches deep and very very fresh...should i have peed in em? I know it sounds dumb, but i had no doe urine on me, what to do? thanks...

I have done that a few times and the buck came back and redone the scrape. Don' t know what he was thinking tho, maybe thought another buck worked his scrape and he was just replacing his scent. Once a buck redid it Big Time, tearing all the dirt out and making sure he left only his scent. I haven' t yet had one not return and refresh it.

Ive done this several times.. it seems to work.. they cant tell much of a difference if any.. I believe it keeps the scrape active and makes the even hotter
