Default Arkansas Deer Hunting Questions

Im not the most experienced hunter, but every thanksgiving I hunt for about a 4 day span on a large swath of private land in Northwest Arkansas during the week. Two years ago i took a modest 8 pt, and last year i took a very tall wall-hanging 10. Both of these deer have come from no calls, scents, or anything, just me sitting there. I was hoping to try out a few scents, rattles, or calls, but im not really sure where to begin. Because northwest Arkansas is pretty south, its hard to gauge the rut and find info online on what i should use, so im asking you guys for the tips. I will be hunting the 23rd-25th, the weather will be clear with highs ranging from 51-60 degrees. It has been consistently in the 60s for the last few weeks, with even 80s at the beginning of the month. Based upon this information, i think the rut might be delayed. I usually hunt fields and fencerows, and based upon this info, i was wondering your suggestions? Thanks in advanced!
