Depends on how hard it' s raining. I have seen more deer when there is a light rain. But if it is heavy and the wind is blowing you probably won' t see anything unless you stalk them out of their beds.

Only if you want to get one .
Will your rain be soft . hard , steady , intermittant ? Will you have to battle fog as well ? It pays to know the answers to these questions .

Have you hunted the rain before ? If not , go , you' ll learn a lot . If it doesn' t pour really hard the deer will still be moving , giving you a good chance for a still hunt .
Be the Ninja !!

A Ninja lives by stealth and cunning , fade into the background , and never let your quarry see your face . The wind will still be a factor , but not as much , play it like any other day afield .

But if the rain gets real hard you might as well stay home . Deer aren' t that different than us , they don' t like a hard rain , but they' re just dumb enough to move when the rain slacks up if they' re hungry or horny . If the rut is on keep your eyes open at all times , and notice everything , no matter how small .

Should you hunt the rain ? I' d give it a try ...

Ok, will your scent be as strong in the rain as it would be on a dry day?

Or is it not as stron and doesn' t stick around long?

I like hunting in the rain, as said deer will move fast when it slacks up sometimes. But when the lightning gets close I haul butt.
