Default Tomorrow I bow hunt!!!!

Opening day tomorrow for most zones in NJ. " Earn a Buck" is in effect meaning a hunter must shoot a doe first in order to harvest a buck. I don' t like it because early season is a great chance at a big buck but I follow the rules... I' ll be out there in the am in my favorite funnel spot. Weather looks good. I' m ready.

Good luck to any going tomorrow. Hope to have a picture and story to share on Monday...

I always looked at early season as the time to take a doe. Just the opposite I guess.

Good luck Jersey, we have an early suburban hunt that starts the 20th (I can' t wait) it is does only until the regular bow season opens 4 Oct. then it is buck or doe. The place I will be hunting is holding a huge 4 1/2 year old 8 point (That is what he was last year, the year before he was a very tall 6). I hope that I will get an idea of his patterns while hunting doe with out him busting me.

Joe how do you plan on taking care of the deer should you get one? Butchering it right away. Quartering it and puting in ice chest or fridge. Or having someone do it for you .Thanks and once again good luck.
