Virginia has made the use of Deer Urine illegal. Like many other things associated with hunting, you can still buy it but if they catch you with it you get burned. I used to spray doe urine as a cover scent. It seemed to work very well. I have not even tried the synthetics yet. Can anyone weigh in with recent experience?

Today I tried some synthetic doe in estrus. IT smelled just as horrible as the real thing to me. I saw two deer, beyond bow range and both seemed to be relaxed. I will have to try it again.

I used to use Roger raglins whitetail maniac 150 and other products of his they work if used properly but if you cant use urine products use acorn scent that works as well actually you can use in conjunction with each other.

That's all we can use in Ontario Canada and last Friday I had a 6pt, 9pt and 8 pt of varying ages convinced there was a doe to be had, all were between 10 and 19 yards
