I use a 50 cal IN-line CVA Firebolt in the early muzzleloader season in PA. A 30-06 Savage or 12 guage during the regular season, and a 50 cal Traditions Deerhunter flink in the late season...

M500 with saboted slug (when slugs are allowed)
CVA Hunterbolt .50 cal (during muzzleloader season)
Winchester model 1894 in .30-30 (during general firearm season)
Louisville Slugger 34 oz. (if I find one in my back yard :D)

This year I am using a Marlin 30/30 Glenfield mod. 30A. Every other year I have used a Remington or a Mossberg smooth bore 12 gauge w/3" mags. You know when you shoot that beast!

My Dad and I use Browning BAR 30-06, 180 grain soft point, handloads. My son uses a Marlin336, 30-30, 150 grain, handload and my brother uses a Savage 300, 150 grain, handload. Those handloads sure do make a difference for grouping !!!

Currly i am using my bow., but once gun season rolls around i' ll be using my browning bps 12 ga. w/ hastings rifled barrel and scope.

My weapon of choice is a Winchester model 70 super grade in .300 win. mag. I will be shooting winchester fail safe in 180 grain.

Gotten Two deer already with my .300 WSM with 150gr. Silver Ballistic tips. It is in the cabinet and out comes old faithful...7mm Rem. Mag in my Tikka. Six deer total with that one and counting.

After that I' ll try the unbelievably accurate 25/06 in a my Tikka Stainless.

I use a 303 parkerhale for rifle and a 50 cal traditions for black powder season.We also have a shotgun doe only area here in manitoba and I use a single shot 12 gauge for that.

I will stay with the combination that has done good by me in the past 150gr Hornady SST handloaded to about 2950fps from my husky 30-06
Up to 400yds it has been good to me over the years
