Tracking deer is a pain in the butt sometimes, i helped a friend of mine look for the doe he shot two weeks ago about a hour after he shot it. the arrow was blood from end to end but there wasnt a blood trail anywhere , so we ended up having to walk to the little 30 or 40 acre corn field behind his stand because he couldnt see back there but heard it go crashing in and we found it about 30 yrds from his stand but we walked the whole thing.just keep on looking for it man

YOU RUSHED HER. ALLWAYS GIVE A DEER AT LEAST 20 MIN. SOME TIMES A DOE IS HARD TO FIND. THEY ARE SO SMALL THEY CAN HIDE ANY WHERE. DONT GIVE UP. KEEP LOOKING. WAIT TILL DAY LIGHT. HURY IT WOULD BE A SAME TO WAST A NICE DEER.

a couple of years ago, before i could hunt, i helped a friend look for a deer and we followed her into some of the thickest swamp and there was a blood trail for at least 1/2 mile. we finally found a spot where she went around in circles, but we still couldn' t find her. we looked everywhere, even under the roots of windfalls, but to no prevail, and to this day that hunter hasn' t gotten a deer, but we have faith that someday he' ll get one.

2 years ago I shot a doe with a slug. Went down instantly I could see it across a little draw so I went to get her and she was gone looked for about 10 min. I went back to where I took the shot and there she was. So I went back again I passed by her at least twice by a matter of 10 feet and couldn' t pick her out among the downed limbs and rocks. So Its there some where. Sorry about your loss.
