Default Help for buying hunting property

Hi everyone, my father and I are looking at finally buying our own piece of hunting land and I really want to make sure we purchase a good property so I thought I would see what you guys think. I posted a couple aerial photos of the property we are looking at. I know you need food, water, and cover etc. But do you see any pros or cons to this particular property? The property is 100 acres total.

Thank you so much for your input!

The best thing to do is walk the property yourself if your able to. Then you'll be able to get a better idea of what the property is capable of.

Yeah I know and I will be walking the property in the next week, but just wanted to see if anyone could give feedback on what to look for as far as what is on the aerial map.

I'm not familiar with your area. Looks like mountains? I'm in Florida so do not deal with that of landscape.

All you can tell is it has ridges and valleys from the photos. You need to put leather to soil and look the place over really well.

do you have government auctions??? here in ontario canada for example, people who lose land due to taxes and government debts can have land auctioned off on them. sometimes parcels go fairly inexpensive but ny no means dirt cheap, but much lower than private or real estate sales.
