Illinois and Iowa seem to produce a lot of big bucks but I don' t know the process of getting out of state tags. Texas is another big buck state. If you really want to travel, there' s always Saskatchewan, Canada. How about Ridley Creek State Park right in SE Penna? Lots of deer there.

Consider Eastern Kentucky , it' s starting to gain a reputation for record book bucks , and it' s not too far from you . The prices are reasonable there too , and you should be able to get the licenses OTC . Check with the Ky. Fish and Wildlife website for more info .
Alternatively , Indiana is another place with plenty of deer , jillions of acres of public land , and reasonable license fees for out of staters . The Hoosier Natl. Forest alone seems to cover 1/4 of the state sometimes . Hike a mile from the truck and you' ll probably be the only one there besides the deer . The IDNR website can fill you in .
