Default Reduced Recoil Ammo

Any expereince with performance of "Reduced Recoil" hunting ammo ... 308 Win. .... on white tailed deer?

My bro in law had his son using it when he started out, in a rem automatic .308. Did just fine... all the deer were dead. I believe it was remington ammo if I remember correctly. I didn't think he needed it, but he thought it would be better.

"Reduced Recoil" ammo is just lower velocity ammunition. It will have more drop, less energy, and less range than standard ammo. Just sight your rifle in with the ammo that you will be hunting with and keep your shots within a reasonable distance.
