Default Mystery Deer......(Stealth Cam Picture)

I' m not sure how well this photo will show up but here is the scoop. The first time I looked at this picture I passed it up thinking it was a big doe. Later on that night when I was able to sit down to review my photos I took a closer look at this photo and noticed a rack on top of it. Not only that but it was a big one. I have e-mailed this picture to hunting friends and they see what I see. I have zoomed in on this picture but the more you zoom in, the more grainy the picture becomes. I have analyzed other pictures taken from the same angle thinking it was something in the background but there is not. I even checked out a few day time pictures and there is nothing at all that resembles a rack. My dads eye sight is not all that good and he does not see it. Another thing is, this is a big deer for my parts and I don' t recall ever seeing a doe of this size before. I know that the eye can play tricks on you but I' m 97% sure that I am not trying to see something that is not there. Take a look at this photo fellas and tell me what y' all see. Any input would be great. Can anyone enlarge this?

It looks like a very small deer - a yearling to be honest

I do see something on top - but it is not a big buck IMO

Rack, I have hunted Texas and all the deer look like german shepards

I can not see anything on top on this deer.

I got a deer last year in Texas that was 6 1/2 and it field dressed at 124lbs[]

I' ve blown up the pic and cropped out the rest of the background (so just the deer is in the picture)--but I don' t see any antlers. I' ve even changed some of the colors around and inverted the color selection--but don' t see anything there...

I just checked this out on some photo editing software here at work. I couldnt see a rack. I reversed the colors, looked at a negative, etc. etc. I think you are seeing a small light colored spot above the head that is most likely the result of dust on the lense.

Also, the body language of that deer screams doe to me, but I could be wrong. I just dont see a rack.

I appreciate all of the input. What I need is a better picture of this deer. I' ve looked and compared this picture with all of my doe pictures and they don' t seem to match up. I got another roll developed soon after this but it was just does, a spike and bunch of coons. Maybe my next roll will give me some clues. Again, I appreciate the input. Here is a young 8 pt. I got on camera the night after this ' mystery deer' picture.

How far away is your camera? The flash is not lighting the area very well at all. My Stealh Cam has plent of flash out to about 20-25' .

Mike, so does mine. This deer was so close to the camera so my thinking is that he absorbed all the flash. If I have deer under the feeder it lights up the area pretty well.
