Default Same Deer ????????

Is this the same deer? Only with more pts, bigger, older and not much wiser. If it is the same deer, redemtion is mine to enjoy.

I shot the 2013 8pt from the same setup, same distance, and was unable to find the deer. Not a pass thru shot, but found lots of blood that eventually disappeared. I searched for weeks, even with a tracking dog and never found the 8pt deer. I was extremely disappointed with myself for not finding this particular deer. I truly believed I made a fatal shot on this deer.

I shot and harvested the 2014 10pt, on the opening day of the VA archery season. Once again not a pass thru, but did find the deer within 50 yards of my setup. After reviewing the pics, I see some similarities. What do you think? Are these the same deer????????

Few years back I shot a buck during fire arms season. As I was field dressing it I felt some thing in the ribs that shouldn't have been there. After a more careful dressing I found a broad head stuck in the ribs and a tiny bit of arrow. it had already started to grow tissue around it.
Yup they sure like a lot alike and if isn't the same they had the same daddy.

Could be. They look pretty similar to me. Especially the left side main beam. Was the 2013 deer hit on his right side?

Looks like you can even see where he was hit in the shoulder. Looks like the same deer to me.

I agree with bowhunterx, the left side main beam tells the story. if not the same deer then must be in the same genes some how.

Here are a couple more pics. I did shoot the 2013 8 pt on his right side. The picture facing side of this 2014 10pt. Quartering away shot right behind the shoulder aiming thru to the opposite side shoulder.

Thanks to all of you for your honest opinions. I feel relieved that I did not fataly wound and unable to retreive the 2013 8pt.
