Model 94 30-30 here, see lots of levers where I hunt cause we push the bush and its so thick that shots past 50yrds are very rare.

I have a Win. Model 88 in 308 Amodel 94 in 30-30 and a Marlin 336 in 30-30. I mostly use the Model 88. I once had a Savage99 in 308 but had trouble with the safe so I traded it in for an 06....

Model 94 30-30, in my opinion this style of rifle is the most versatile, reliable type hunting rifle made.

For the type of hunting that I do,the 30/30 levergun is as good as it gets.
It's my primary hunting companion,now

I swear by my lever action rifles. I use a 30-30, 35 marlin and a 300 savage. All lever action, all taken deer consistently.

My Winchester 94 30-30 is the only hunting rifle I own and I've never needed anything else.

I use my Browning BAR 308 usually for Deer and bring the Marlin 336 30-30 as back-up. Next season I want to bring the Marlin out a couple of days and give it some exersize.

I've got a Marlin in 357 with a ghost ring sight. If I'm hunting in the deep stuff where shots will be 50 yards or less, that's what I take. Very lightweight and handles great.
