Any Hunting Deer with Lever Action Rifles?

Any of you sportsmen still using lever action rifles to hunt deer? If so, which caliber and what make rifle?
When I'm hunting in the southern U.S. ; Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas I often use my Winchester 94's in 30-30 and 444. They are fun, lightweight, accurate, and with a well placed shot...deadly!

Much Appreciation,

I hunt with lever actions.Currantly i hunt with win 94 in 30-30,marlins in 357 magnum and 444 and savage 99s in 250-3000 and 284.I have killed deer with a win 94 in 32-40 and a marlin in 35 rem. I still have the 32-40 it was my grandfathers.I would like to add a 358 win to my collection in either a browning blr or a savage 99.

I got and use a couple 30-30's and a 32 and I don't care what anyone say but more deer have been killed by a 30-30 than any other cal, and a Lever action just has that feel to too.

Nope i prefer my 270 bolt but my grandpa found time to go out rifle hunting this yr.. its been hard for him because he has been hunting all his life now he has cancer.... I m gonna have to take over. He uses a 30 30 lever action..... "The Pea shooter" he says haha

I bought a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag last year to hunt with. It's a nice little gun.

I shoot my 25 year old Model 94 30-30 in the woods and Browning Lever Rifle 7mm-08 in the fields. I had abolt action once. The rifle was cursed. I went from killing three deer a year to not even getting a shot the year I hunted with that cursed bolt action.

I have two lever action rifles that I use to hunt deer with...both are Marlin 336s. One is chambered for the 30-30 and the other for the 35 Remington....I tend to prefer the 35 a tad more.

I have shot many a deer with my winchester 30-30. I prefer my bolt action 30-06 or 270 when Im hunting. I carry my 30-30 in one of my trucks and if I get out in the field and see a nice deer I wont hesitate using my 30-30. Its a great shoting gun.
