Okay guys, here is the scoop. Many of you know me, and post on my board here at Hunting.Net.
338 is a personal friend of mine, he is not an anti, and he is in the process of putting together a hunting show. He is also the co-founder of the Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America (COFA) with me.
The questions he is asking are background for his upcoming show. He is trying to get a sense of what " hunting" TV viewers would like to see on the show.
I commend many of you guys on your attitude, and the way you would have us deal with an anti. Fighting with them only makes it worse. Treating them with kindness, and trying to to educate them is the ONLY way to get them to change their minds.
If anyone has further questions feel free to e-mail me direct.
T.R. Michels, author & moderator of the " T.R.' s Tips" board here at Hunting.net.
If you guys haven' t joined us on " T.R.' s Tips" yet we' d love to have you.
Mike (338),
If you need an advisor on elk, or whitetail, or turkey, or waterfowl, all you have to do is ask. Sorry I missed your call.
God bless all of you, and good hunting,

Thanks for putting our suspicions to rest 338 and T.R. I will be the first to apologize for my doubts. It is unfortunate that we have come to be so skeptical in this age of the anti' s, but I hope it is understandable. I hope you were not made to feel unwelcome outdoor 338, and I also hope you understand why some of us were on the defensive. Hopefully we can all be of help to you in giving ideas for your show. Again, I apologize.

I wathced this whole thing develope and found in out of place and odd for another member to make a statement and start a frenzie.
I normally would not post on a topic like this but I have to be honest, I am serprized how much every one got stired up over 388 posts.
When I read them they sounded just as the were intended, questions. Nothing more nothing less.
388 I truly hope you are not deterd by some of the members doubts and you will contine to remain a active member.
To the members that have taken the libertly to mention they were sorry I am relieved to see the mannerisim of fellow board members.

TR, I hav already posted an apology on the things I have said but ya gotsta realize that sometimes things are said and when a person goes to check on what someone claims...it just cannot be verified and other info is found that strengthens those suspicions.
The above quote sounds as if it were only you and Mr.Brooks who founded that org. but when I went to the website it lists you and 3 other people as founders ,yet I never saw the name Michael Brooks. Would it have been more apropos to say he was a founding member?

Thundermug,
I can understand many of the guys were suspicious. As for you, it takes a strong confident person to apologize. Well done.
The basis for COFA was my original idea, and four of us founded it. But, one dropped out. Dr. Mike Brooks (sports medicine physician), Dr. Nick Gray (minister, former publisher/editor of Rocky Mountain Bowhunter magazine) and I are the founders. Mike now runs things.

I too would like to make known that I am giving my sincere apologies to Dr. Mike, I was not sure he was but just wanted to lean to the side of caution..maybe I could have picked another route of doing so such as sending an email and waiting for reply.... once again may I bow toward Dr Mike and say I am sorry!!!

You can add another apology to the list. And I will willingly support your quest for info on hunting if in my meager resources. I have identified the odor, it' s a fall clear day with season' s opening. Wish you success with the program.
