I had a great 2012 season. I was after a bigger 10 pointer this year that I never did get a clean shot at. I hunted until the last day and last hour of the season and finally just took a nice doe.

For me, it is so much fun taking the camera with to the stand, and also being able to hunt every day until the end of the season.

I once got a deer on the first day, and I was sad that I could not hunt anymore. If that does happen again, I will just go out with my camera.

How high is your stand? That doe was onto you. It seems like you're barely off the ground.
If it was me I'd be on the low side of the tree not the high side. You wanna be looking down on them not up.

Nice videos, but I have to agree. It looks as though you are looking directly into the deer. But even if you put your stand on the other side, if that is where they are coming from, then it is what it is. It will give you a bit more cover though.
