How does that work ? A buck in velvet will score higher then a bone buck. The velvet gives a advantage in inches when measuring mass.

CD if I am not mistaken they can not be scored in velvet.

There is no catagory for a velvet cover bucks.

Pope & Young will also accept velvet entries for whitetails. There is a box to check for velvet on their score sheet, and there are entries for them in almost every quarterly newsletter.
