I like both. Mornings I' ll hunt the main woods and evenings I' ll hunt the fields. I do see more deer in the mornings though, as the deer tend to enter the fields after sunset.

I enjoy both, but there is just something about watching everything around you come alive and start to move at first light.

The areas that I hunt are more conducive to morning hunts so that gets my vote. However, last year I found a field that did provide some good evening hunting so that does have its appeal as well.

I am able to hunt much more in the evenings--about a 4 to 1 ratio--so I' ve had a bit more success then . . . but I prefer the mornings for the reasons others have listed.
