i was told that it is ok to post right on the line. also there is no need to post by written permission only as we have to have written permission to hunt private land no matter if it is posted or not. and the wardens are doing a good job at checking and writing tickets for offenses.

Here in Tennessee, private property is considered just That, private. The signs are there just like a lock is just to keep an honest man honest. All private property is by written permission only. In the regs it is plainly stated, that written permission must be carried with you in the field. The TWRA, Tennessee Wildlife Resourses Agency, wardens, during the hunting season regularly check.
