Default What's wrong with this deer?

So I got a few pictures of on my trail camera of this deer. I got many pictures both in the day and at night, but this is the best one to see what I'm talking about. It appears he has his antler on one side, but on the other side has this. Is it the other antler growing straight down, or some type of tumor or some sort? Anyone seen anything like this? He also looks pretty skinny compared to the other deer which has me thinking something just isn't right.

He does look rather poorly. Hard to say from one pic. he could have an injury on his right side or just injured the antler early in its growth. But, as I said, he looks poor! He could possibly be sick. Just hard to say from the pic.

Not that it helps too much, but here is one more, where you can see he looks pretty poor.

Like JagMag, With his left antler messed up, it'd be interesting to see the right side of his body for injury. Clearly having a food/nutrition problem because of it.

Wouldn't hesitate to end it quickly for him it he looks that bad in person.

its probably from breaking his skull plate, the skinniness is probably due to an infection

Yep, it's a deformed antler and whatever injury caused it has made him a sick puppy as poor as his body looks for this time of the year when he should be eating good. I'd shoot him to put him out of his misery even if it meant wasting a tag to do it.
