Question stay or go

any tricks for getting out of your stand at night with deer around, or is it best to sit and wait them out?

You can try a real deep grunt. Sometimes this will scare the hec out of the does and younguns.

You could use your best old pick-up line. That should scatter them.

Seriously, I have a friend who swears by barking like a dog. He claims that it gets them moving with them suspecting him. I have used this tactic when slowly driving deer to a stander. They moved without panicking giving him a good shot.

I wait them out. If they seem to stick around, I would go with Big Bullets barking idea.

I have had to move some along at dark before,I use the dog barking tactic and it seems to work well. If i'm in my climber the sound of me coming out of the tree does the job as well, but I try and wait until they are out of view before coming down so they don'f nail my spot.

Unless you're baiting or sitting over a food plot, they probably won't stick around that long. In that case, wait em out.
